MET Recycling is a private company, owned and operated locally within Australia. MET diverts and recycles in excess of 99 per cent of the building waste materials it processes from construction sites which would otherwise become landfill. These materials are turned into eco-friendly products for use in future residential, civil, and infrastructure construction projects through our sustainable recycling processes.
The MET Recycling team operates out of its state-of-the-art recycling facility at Silverwater in the heart of western Sydney, and services construction projects across the Greater Sydney area. MET offers its valued clients competitive and comprehensive services for their tipping and recyclable product needs, helping to support their sustainable building practices.
WHAT WE DO
MET Recycling accepts and recycles building and demolition waste (B&D) and solid materials (brick, concrete, asphalt, terracotta, sand, soil) and GSW (CT1 recyclable) to develop eco-friendly products such as aggregates, road base, turf underlay, and crusher dust.
MET Recycling does not accept some materials directly but can offer a haul and dispose service to a licensed landfill. These materials include GSW (CT2), asbestos soil (special waste), restricted waste, and hazardous waste.
HOW WE DO IT
MET Recycling will collect building construction waste from your project site and delivers this waste to the state-of-the-art MET Recycling facility in Silverwater. After tipping, MET Recycling will sort and process this building waste at its facility. Processed recycled building materials (aggregates, turf underlay, crusher dust, roadbase) are then transported to project sites for use in future construction and development.
WHY WE DO IT
MET Recycling has a simple goal: harness the power of today’s building waste and turn it into something useful for future projects.
At MET Recycling, we recognise that our natural resources are finite. We contribute to the wider sustainability of the NSW and Australian construction industry by recycling building materials from construction sites and producing new products that can be incorporated into residential, civil and infrastructure projects. By recycling waste from current and ongoing construction projects across Sydney, MET Recycling can help to promote a more sustainable construction process for our local industry as we thrive toward a circular economy.
